Nourish: A Day of Self-Care
Saturday, November 2
8:45am-12pm

The term "nourish" evokes a sense of abundance and care, suggesting sustenance and growth, both physical and emotional. It embodies the core of what it means to help something flourish and highlights the importance of giving and receiving care in all its forms. As women we often are a conduit for nourishing the world around us, but we rarely take the time to be nourished ourselves.

We invite all women to join us on Saturday, November 2 to receive nourishment for their bodies, minds, and souls. Sponsored by FCC Moms, this event is open to all women, whether they are moms or not, inviting you to rejuvenate and connect at any stage of life.

The morning will begin together as we set out intentions for the day, followed by a choice of engaging workshops, including:

  • An Art Practice with Jennifer Parker: A talented artist and educator, Jennifer will guide us in exploring self-expression through a creative art practice.
  • A Wellness Seminar with Karen Johal: As a registered dietitian and UC Berkeley instructor, Karen will share insights on nourishing your emotional and spiritual well-being through mindful eating and supplements.
  • Additional workshops that will provide pathways to explore movement and deepen your connection with your body, as well as a reflection on your personal story.

In between workshops, we’ll gather for a healthy, colorful, and fun brunch with vegan and gluten-free options, where we will enjoy fellowship, laughter, and connection.

We invite you to be part of this enriching experience!

A suggested donation of $20 per person is appreciated, but there is a "pay what you can" option to ensure everyone can participate. Please register by October 28 to secure your spot.

Come nourish yourself, connect with other women, and embrace this journey of holistic wellness!
