Pastor Chamron was born and raised in Cambodia and is a survivor of the Khmer Rouge. He began his theological training at a refugee camp in Thailand before coming to the United States and completing his education at Golden Gate Baptist Seminary. After several years of Pastoral Ministry in Connecticut, Chamron moved to Oakland and later joined staff at FCC in 2005.
Chamron oversees our Cambodian Ministry, including weekly worship services and Bible studies. He loves caring for our whole congregation through visitations, prayer, and communion. Passionate about evangelism and discipleship, he leads annual missions trips minister to the people of Cambodia and develop and train Cambodian pastors and leaders.
Chamron has been married to Lekun for over forty years, and they have three grown children (Daniel, Joshua, and Sharon), and two grandsons. Outside of work, he loves to play all kinds of sports.
