"Joey" Alan Le
Director of Spiritual Formation
Dr. “Joey” Alan Le joined the FCC team in 2021, shortly after completing his PhD in Theological Studies through Regent University. He also holds a BA in Rhetoric from UC Berkeley and an MDiv from Fuller Theological Seminary. Joey came to us with a variety of ministry experience, having served as a Small Groups and Executive Pastor, Associate Academic Dean for a Bible College, and Assistant to the Vice President for a Christian School. Previously ordained in the Assemblies of God, Joey is now a licensed minister in the Evangelical Covenant Church.
As our Director of Spiritual Formation, Joey oversees our Community Night adult group, our Connection Group ministry, our Young Families Group, and our Theology Seminars. He is passionate about bringing people encounter the wonder of God.
Joey is married to Esther and they share a love of food, boba, and ice cream. They have a daughter, Evelyn, whom they love spending time with – running, riding scooters, swimming, hiking, shopping, and exploring. Outside of theology, Joey’s greatest passion is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has been training since 2014 and loves sharing the art with others, helping them discover their truest selves through it.
